We recently introduced new plans which rewarded teachers even more. This year continues with outstanding rewards, incredible bonuses and easy to understand conditions...

When Amateurs or professionals participate in their second event of the year on a VIP package or dance more than 100 paid entries at an event, they are eligible to receive the current VIP card. Benefits include:

- Entry to the VIP lounge at the event / Free snacks and beverages
- 10% Discount from Decadance Photography Services
- 10% Discount from selected vendors at the event
- VIP cards are non-transferable


Since 2003 our "World Points" rewards program has led the way in offering ballroom dancers who attend our events outstanding prizes and benefits. Amateurs receive 'World Points" rewards for participating in a World Promotions ballroom event. World Points are redeemable for free dance entries (75 points for three entries) or magnificent silver statues hand made for us by Ruven Perelman, one of the world's top goldsmiths (600 points). One point is received per multi dance entry and for every two freestyle entries. The rewards never expire provided you attend an event every two years. Since World Points began in 2004 dozens of ballroom dancers have received Ruven Perelman statues.

Every Professional who attends a World Promotions Ballroom Dance Competition is eligible for World Points. A Cash Prize Fund of $10,000 is awarded at the Sunburst Ball to the Top Three Teachers (1st - $5,000, 2nd $3,000 and 3rd $2,000). The Conditions for World Points are below.

Each event offers Open Multi Dance / Scholarship events which have a cash prize fund attached. The scholarship prizes are as follows:
       1st*: $300,    2nd: $200,    3rd: $100

Should less than 6 contestants compete in a scholarship category - the prize money is halved.
Organizers reserve the right to combine age divisions if events are not fully subscribed.

At World Promotions events teachers can receive up $20 an entry. The Florida Plus & Western Regional Events are among the top paying dance events in the country.

Three events comprise the Florida Plus Series - Spring Fling - TAMPA (March), Swing into Summer - NAPLES (May) and Ballroom Blitz - ORLANDO (November).

Every entry¹ over 300 danced in the Florida Plus Series will receive an additional $10 an entry on a cumulative basis²

Three events comprise the Western Region Series - Texas Star Ball - DALLAS (February), VIVA LAS VEGAS (July) and Sunburst Ball - SCOTTSDALE (December) (With only three events in the series our prize money is easier to win than any other events in the country). At the ‘one day events’ (TSB and SBB):

20 to 100 entries¹ = $5 Per Entry, Retroactive (ie: 21 entries = $105)
Over 100 entries¹ = $10 Per Entry, Retroactive (ie: 101 entries = $1,010)

At the ‘multi day event’ (VLV):

20 to 150 entries¹ = $5 Per Entry, Retroactive (ie: 21 entries = $105)
Over 150 entries¹ = $10 Per Entry, Retroactive (ie: 151 entries = $1,510)

On a cumulative basis………… Every entry¹ over 350 danced in the Western Region Series which (includes a multi day event) receives an additional $10 an entry on a cumulative basis³

By simply attending and dancing in the best events in the world every student and teacher is automatically enrolled and earning World Points. Student World Points never expire provided that you attend one event every two years.

Every entry danced at a World Promotions event accumulates World Points. The points can be used in a variety of ways; each reward has true monetary value. Amateurs may use their World Points to receive the awards below...

Summary of Amateur Conditions

- Points are awarded 1 point per multi dance entry and 1 point per 2 single dance entries

- Las Vegas and all overseas events earn DOUBLE POINTS

- Only Paid entries received by the deadline dates receive points

- Points expire only if account is dormant for more than 24 months

- World Promotions reserves the right to disqualify any person from further participation in the World Points program if, in World Promotions’ sole judgment that person has violated any World Promotions competition rules or standards of conduct

- Awards commissioned from Ruven Perelman are unique and made by hand and may not be immediately available, (generally the delay will not exceed 30 days). World Promotions reserves the right to change the awards offered from time to time

- World Promotions reserves the right to change the World Points rules, award levels or the prizes

Summary of Professional Conditions

- Professional points accumulate from the First event of the Year (Texas Star Ball) and end with the last competition of the year (Sunburst Ball). Every event accumulates points. Professional Points do not carry over in to future years.

- In order to qualify for the top teacher prize fund professionals must attend six events and accumulate 600 World Points. Professionals must participate with (minimum) 20 Freestyle entries at the final event (Sunburst Ball) to receive the Cash Prize. Cash Prize is forfeited if you do not participate.

- Points are awarded 1 point per multi dance entry and 1 point per 2 single dance entries. 10 points per VIP Package (A) and 2 points per Paid Competition Package (B). Discounted Packages are not applicable. Remitter must indicate which professional receives package credits

- Las Vegas and all overseas events earn DOUBLE POINTS

- Only fully paid entries receive points. Discounted or free entries do not qualify

- Only Fully paid packages receive points. Discounted or free packages do not qualify

- Entries and packages must be received by deadline date to receive points

- Points are individual and cannot be transferred

- World Promotions reserves the right to disqualify any person from further participation in the World Points program if, in World Promotions’ sole judgment that person has violated any World Promotions competition rules or standards of conduct

- World Promotions reserves the right to change the World Points rules, award levels or the prizes
